Private inquiries
When a case goes cold, it comes to us.
Moonlight Bureau takes the files that have stopped moving: the ones closed too early, the ones everybody else has already explained away. We read what was missed, ask what wasn't asked, and keep working until the answer can be proven.
“Dear Moonlight Bureau, they tell me it's settled. I don't believe them.” How most of our letters begin
How we work
- On paper first
Reports, statements, receipts, timetables. Most cases are decided by a detail somebody filed and forgot.
- Where it happened
We walk the streets, check the sightlines and the hours. A place remembers what people leave out.
- Proven, or not at all
We don't hand over a hunch. A finding goes in the report only when the evidence holds it up.
Our investigators
Nobody here closes a case alone. Our investigators work in small teams, argue over every page, and sign the report together.
